The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary would like to announce that the 15th Annual “Coats for Kids” fundraiser is underway through April 16, 2017. The goal of this program is to raise $25,000 to provide 500 Wayne County children with a warm, new coat, and other clothing needs. All donations will go toward the “Coats for Kids” project.
Donations of any amount are gladly accepted. For those who donate $50, a badge with their name , “in memory of” or “in honor of” will be placed on one of our two traveling coats that are “visiting” area businesses around the county. Large buttons and decorative additions can be purchased for $500 and $1000 or more.
Checks should be made payable to : The Salvation Army Coats for Kids and mailed to 437 South Market Street, Wooster, OH 44691.
The two traveling coats will be displayed for the next eight weeks at the following locations and forms for donations to the “Coats for Kids” program will also be available.
