Authorities in Mansfield were given quite the surprise when they pulled over a minivan early Tuesday morning. According to the Richland County Sheriff’s office, deputies pulled the van over shortly after 1 a.m. on state route 430 near route 39 because the van had no lights on and made several lane violations. When the van was pulled over, Deputies found an 11 year old boy behind the wheel of the van. The boy was taken home and released to his father, but was given a summons on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and unruly juvenile, while also being cited for no operator’s license, marked lane violations, and not using lights.
