The Wooster man, who along with two teens, stands accused of beating a pair of homeless men last month while they slept outside of a church in downtown Wooster, has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. 18-year old Richard Luper appeared in Wayne County Common Pleas Court yesterday, where he pleaded not guilty to two counts of felonious assault and one count of misdemeanor assault. A pretrial conference has been scheduled for October 1st.
