After announcing this week that it would be closing the Alice Noble Ice Arena and giving the facility to the Wooster City School District, the Donald and Alice Noble Foundation now says that it will present a proposal to the organizations that use the rink to see if anything can be done to keep it open and operating as is.  Foundation president David Noble spoke on the matter Wednesday, saying the proposal will be laid out within the next couple of weeks.  The $5 million facility opened its doors in 2001 and since that time has incurred nearly $5 million in additional losses.
