Severe Weather Shelter in Wooster will be open tonight

The Severe Weather Shelter, located at the Wooster Corp of the Salvation Army, will open again tonight (Tuesday, December 29^th), as temperatures will drop during the overnight hours.  The Severe Weather Shelter will open at 6:00pm will remain open through 8:00am the following morning.  It is open to anyone who may need a safe place to sleep, a hot meal and a warm shower.  Guests arriving at the shelter are asked to use the Family Life Center door of the Salvation Army which faces Ohio Street. Guests will need to complete a COVID-19 questionnaire, have their temperature taken and put on a mask to enter the shelter. Masks must be worn by guests when they are not on their beds in the shelter.
