Norwayne Local staff gets stipend for COVID safety efforts

The Norwayne Local School District’s board of education has agreed to give all staff members a $125 stipend for their collective COVID safety efforts over the last year and a half.  The money used for the stipends came from federal relief funds.  Superintendent Kevin Leatherman says the stipends are a small token of the district’s appreciation for everything extra that staff members continue to do to keep everyone as safe as possible.
