The Ohio EPA has announced more than $1 million in grants to control mosquitos. Grants will be shared among health departments in 47 counties, including several locally. The EPA says the money will help mitigate the spread of mosquito-born viruses. On the local scene, both Ashland and Medina County’s health departments will receive $25,000 grants.
