A 42-acre parcel of land located on Oak Hill Road across from Wooster High School is being proposed as the site of Wooster’s newest housing development. The latest proposal is being put together by Compak of Wooster and the Wooster Development Company, which proposes 91 single family houses to address Wooster’s housing shortage. The units will include both one and two-story homes with a projected pricetag between $250,000 and $350,000. The proposal still needs approval from Wooster City Council, which will reconvene in September.
