An Akron man pleaded guilty last week in U.S. District Court in Cleveland on felony drug charges stemming from a Wooster woman’s overdose death last year in Wadsworth. 27-year-old Dayviaire Rogers pleaded guilty to a charge of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and distribution of a deadly opioid. The charges stem from an investigation last year following the death of 45 year-old Kellie Simmons of Wooster, who overdosed last March at the South End Tavern in Wadsworth. Rogers is scheduled to be sentenced in May.
