The Highway Patrol says alcohol is suspected to be a factor in a two vehicle accident that killed a 72-year-old man from Creston.  The crash happened yesterday afternoon, shortly before four o’clock, in Wayne County’s Milton Township, at the intersection of State Route 57 and State Route 604.  According to the patrol, Larry Bratcher failed to yield at the intersection’s stop sign and was struck by a car driven by an 18-year old from Orrville.  Bratcher was taken to Akron City Hospital, where he later passed away.  The 18-year-old, meanwhile, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.  Officials have yet to release the identity of the 18-year old and have not stated which driver was suspected of being impaired.  The crash remains under investigation.
