Scott Boyes, chief financial officer & chief operating officer at Wooster Community Hospital and Adam Briggs, investment advisor, Briggs & Starr are chairing the American Heart Association’s 2024 Wayne County Heart Walk, an event that draws more than five hundred community members and aims to raise 260-thousand dollars to fight heart disease and stroke.

 “We are excited and honored that Scott and Adam are co-chairing the Wayne County Heart Walk this year,” said Lisa Wheeler-Cooper, American Heart Association executive director, Northeast Ohio. “With their leadership, we will help create a greater awareness of our No. 1 health threat, heart disease, and motivate Wayne County residents to take steps toward a healthier lifestyle.”

The 2024 Wayne County Heart Walk will be held on Thursday, September 19th at Kinney Fields (Oldman & Burbank Rd.) in Wooster. The walk kicks off at 5:00 p.m. with a Healthy for Good Festival, including health screenings, Hands-Only CPR demonstrations, a Kids Zone and more.
