Twenty two students in grades 4-8 will be competing tonight in the annual Holmes County Spelling Bee.  The competition is being held at West Holmes High School, beginning at six o’clock.  Of the 22 participants, 11 are from the East Holmes Local District, while the remaining 11 will be representing West Holmes.  There will be two fourth graders, four fifth graders, four sixth graders, three seventh graders and two eighth grade spellers.  In the event of a weather cancellation, organizers say the Spelling Bee would be rescheduled for Thursday.
