The future of Ohio’s workforce of will be on display next week at the Wayne County Schools Career Center in Smithville. Career and technical education students from schools all across the region will be competing next Friday in the annual SkillsUSA Ohio North Central Regional Championship. The competition includes students from Ashland, Cuyahoga, Holmes, Lorain, Medina, Summit and Wayne counties. The winners will go on to compete in the Ohio SkillsUSA State Championship event, which will take place in April down in Columbus.
