Holmes County Commissioners have approved an enterprise zone agreement for a more than $120 million expansion project at Case Farms in Winesburg. The North-Carolina-based company will renovate and expand its Winesburg facility, including the addition of a 150,000 square-foot freezer that will have the capacity to hold 20 million pounds of poultry.  Company officials say the expansion, which will create nearly 200 new fulltime jobs, will allow the Winesburg facility to process nearly 850,000 pounds of chicken per week.  Case Farms is hoping to break ground as soon as possible.
