As Coronavirus vaccine distribution continues across the state, area health officials are encouraging the community to get the vaccine when possible. The Wayne County Economic Council hosted a virtual seminar on Friday, which featured several local health providers answering questions and providing details on the vaccine. Wayne County Health Commissioner Nick Cascarelli says he’s looking forward to seeing more vaccines become available locally. Currently, Wayne County is providing vaccines to those in the Phase 1B group, which includes at-risk people and those with medical conditions. Registration can be found online at Wayne-Health.org.
