Area high school student passes away

The Wooster City School District is mourning the loss of one of its students.  According to the district’s Facebook page, junior Alexis Coleman, who was getting set to begin her first year at the Wayne County Schools Career Center, passed away Monday from an unexpected illness.  Coleman was a member of both the high school band and girls bowling team.  The district says it will be providing counselors and mental health professionals for all students and staff members who may need someone to speak with.
