Teachers with the Ashland City Schools and the Board of Education appear headed towards an agreement on a new contract. The two sides have been at odds over a contract for the teachers for nine months, but a third party fact-finder has helped the two sides come to terms on a potential agreement. The Board of Education voted this week to accept the report from the fact-finder, while the Teachers Association voted on Thursday to accept the report. No word yet on when a potential agreement and contract would be signed, but the hope is that it would be within the next month.
