The Ashland County-West Holmes Career Center has announced that it is receiving $10.9 million in state funds from the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission for a campus renovation and expansion project. The state funding plays a significant role in the nearly $20 million construction project that the facility is planning. $8.2 million in local funds will also be used to complete the project, which is still in the early planning stages. The Career Center was one of only nine schools in Ohio to receive such funding.
