The Ashland man accused of killing his wife last year withdrew his insanity plea in Ashland County Common Pleas Court Monday. 39 year-old Andrew Hlovac pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity in September in connection to the shooting death of 33 year-old Charity Hlovac last year in Ashland. An independent evaluator agreed with the state evaluator that Hlovac was competent to stand trial, reverting Hlovac’s plea back to not guilty. Hlovac will stand trial beginning in March on multiple charges including aggravated murder.
