The Ashland-West Holmes Career Center’s board expressed some concerns regarding incoming numbers, and sophomore populations at its member schools at its most recent meeting. The school said they had 274 students set to enroll this school year, but that number was down from what they expected due to the coronavirus pandemic. The board believes that without the pandemic they could have seen over 400 students enroll and attend the school. The board also discussed the trend of falling population at its member schools, which they said was between 627 and 640 sophomores, which is a trend that continues to be on the decline.
