The city of Ashland is going green for St. Patrick’s Day.  Ashland Mayor Matt Miller says Center Run Creek will become a “bright, vivid green” at noon today, following a brief ceremony.  The city, which began turning the creek green two years ago, uses tracer dye to create the color.  City officials say the dye is environmentally safe and approved by the EPA.  Weather permitting, there will also be a walking parade this afternoon, beginning at five o’clock at Corner Park.
