Astros relief pitcher Phil Maton is expected to miss the entire 2022 postseason with a fractured finger in his throwing hand.

Maton reportedly fractured the pinky finger on his throwing hand after punching a locker in his final appearance of the regular season against the Philadelphia Phillies, where he went 0.1 innings and allowed two earned runs in the Astros 3-2 win.

During the regular season, Maton recorded a 3.84 ERA with 73 strikeouts in 67 appearances for the Astros.

The Houston Astros take on the Seattle Mariners in the best-of-five American League Divisional Series.
