The Atlanta Hawks and Los Angeles Clippers took 3-2 leads in their conference semifinal series by winning on the road. The Hawks erased a 26-point, first-half deficit and received a game-high, 39 points from Trae Young in a 109-106 stunner at Philadelphia. Phila was up 18 going to the fourth quarter but got outscored 40-19.
The Clippers were 119-111 winners at Utah as Paul George delivered 37 points and 16 rebounds while Los Angeles played without forward Kawhi Leonard because of a a knee injury sustained in Game 4. The Clippers shot 51 percent from the floor. Marcus Morris had 25 and Reggie Jackson 22.
