Aultman Orrville Hospital is continuing to expand its telemedicine services program with area schools.  Last year, Aultman had school-based health clinics in eight districts across Wayne, Holmes, Stark, Tuscarawas and Carroll counties, including Rittman, Orrville and Southeast Local.  This year, three new schools will be utilizing the program.  The new additions include the Wayne County Schools Career Center and Canton City Schools.  The goal of the program, which allows students and staff members to meet virtually with a doctor, is to expand health care, while at the same time minimizing absenteeism.  Last school year, Aultman Orrville says it provided more than 1,300 virtual visits to the region’s students and faculty members.
