An autopsy report released this week reveals that a Jeromesville man, whose body was discovered on the floor of his apartment following a fire in March, died from a stroke and not the fire.  The Ashland County Coroner’s Office says 69-year old Timothy Botdorf had no carbon monoxide or soot in his throat, lungs or bronchial tubes, meaning he had already passed away by the time the fire began.  The fire occurred on the morning March 28th.  Fire officials say it could have been electrical, but the official cause is still listed as undetermined.
