Trustees in Baughman Township are hoping to hire a part-time road worker, a position that has been vacant since last spring. A special trustees meeting will be held tonight at seven o’clock in the township office to interview candidates. Trustees say the starting wage is in the low $20 per hour range, although that could change depending on a person’s experience. Candidates need to have a CDL and previous snow plowing experience is preferred. During the summer months, the job includes mowing roadside grass and keeping the township’s roadways clear.
