The Tribe finished the sweep of the L.A. Angels Wednesday behind a two run homer from Francisco Lindor. Lindor hit the homer in the second inning off of Dillon Peters. Carlos Santana got the scoring going with a solo home run in the first inning to the the Tribe the early lead. Adam Plutko started but took the no decision after working 4.1 innings, giving up two earned runs on six hits. Carlos Carrasco would come on and work 1.2 innings and would pick up the win after not giving up a hit to improve his season record to 5-7.

The Angels chipped away but the Indians were able to hold on, as Adam Cimber picked up his first save of the season, striking out Albert Pujols to end the game. The Indians benefited from the Twins losing to Washington, and are now 4 games back in the A.L Central.
