Wooster’s Black Lives Matter demonstrations are now among the longest-running daily protests in the nation.  The Racial Justice Coalition is on the square in downtown Wooster daily, protesting for equality and an end to racism and police violence.  The coalition’s streak is now approaching 600 consecutive days.  The demonstrations began in May of 2020, following the death of George Floyd, in Minnesota.
