The Holmes County Board of Developmental Disabilities will be asking voters in March to approve new money. The tax levy will include a 2.5-mill renewal, along with an additional 1.25 mills in new funding. If approved, the levy would generate more than $3 million annually, while costing the owner of a $100,000 home less than $4 per month. The board last received new funding back in 2001.
