Longtime Wayne County resident Lydia Thompson has written a book. The 91-year old says it took three or four years to finish her book, which is titled “Retrieving the Wheatfield: Look Where He Brought Me From”. It features stories of Thompson’s life, including journal entries that she penned in longhand over the years. A book signing will take place Saturday, from noon to 1:30pm, at the Wayne County Public Library’s main branch in downtown Wooster.
