The Cleveland Browns defeated the Cincinnati Bengals at home on Monday night by a final score of 32-13, snapping a four-game losing streak.
For Cleveland (3-5), quarterback Jacoby Brissett went 17-22 passing for 278 yards and a touchdown, while rushing for a touchdown as well. Pro Bowl running back Nick Chubb carried the ball 23 times for 101 yards and two touchdowns, while fellow running back Kareem Hunt had 11 carries for 42 yards, while also getting four receptions for 30 yards. Wide receiver Amari Cooper had five catches for 131 yards and a touchdown, while wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones had four catches for 81 yards.
Defensively, linebacker Sione Takitaki recorded a team-high 13 tackles, while rookie cornerback Martin Emerson Jr had nine tackles and two pass deflections. Pro Bowl defensive end Myles Garrett had two tackles and 1.5 sacks, while recording four quarterback pressures. Cornerback A.J. Green had the only interception for the team in the first quarter.
For Cincinnati (4-4), quarterback Joe Burrow went 25-35 passing for 232 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing an interception and getting sacked five times. Running back Joe Mixon had eight carries for 27 yards, while also recording seven catches for 32 yards. Wide receiver Tee Higgins had three catches for 49 yards and a touchdowns, while fellow wide receiver Tyler Boyd had three catches for 38 yards and a touchdown as well.
The Cleveland Browns now enter their bye week, but will be back in action on Sunday, November 13th, when the team goes on the road to take on the Miami Dolphins with kick-off set for 1 p.m.
