The Buckeyes Men’s Basketball team got the first win on the season this evening over Robert Morris, in a game that saw some young players step up for a first home contest. It was a 91-53 final score.

For O.S.U starters Justice Sueing led scoring, walking off the court with 20 points while shooting 8-14 from the field and knocking down 2-3 on 3 point shots. Also notable for the starters, Zed Key scored 13 while going 4-5 from the field, Isaac Likekele scored 9 going 4-9 from the field, Sean McNeil scored 6 pts going 2-5 from the field, and Bruce Thorton scored 3 pts going 1-4 from the field. Off the bench most of the production came from Brice Sensabaugh, who scored 17 and was 5-8 on FG, plus Tanner Holden, scoring 12 pts while shooting 5-5.

For Robert Morris starters Enoch Cheeks led scoring, notching 17 while 7-15 on FG, and 3-7 from behind the 3. Also of note, Stephaun Walker with 10 pts while 4-8 from the field and 0-3 on 3’s, plus Kahliel Spear with 7 points while 3-8 from the field and 0-2 on 3’s. The production from off the bench was limited to Matt Mayers and T.J. Wainwright, both scoring 5.

Next up for the Buckeyes, they will play Charleston Southern at home on Thursday November 10th, with a 6:30 p.m. tip.
