The Ohio State Buckeyes fell to the Penn State Nittany Lions on Thursday night by a final score of 75-71, marking the team’s ninth straight loss and the 14th loss in the last 15 games.
For Ohio State (11-17, 3-14 Big Ten), freshman forward Brice Sensabaugh led the team with 20 points and five rebounds. Freshman guard Bruce Thornton also had a big night with 19 points, while senior forward Justice Sueing scored nine points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
For Penn State (17-11, 8-9 Big Ten), senior guard Jalen Pickett scored a team-high 23 points, while fellow senior guard Seth Lundy scored 19 points with five rebounds. Senior guard Camren Wynter also was critical for the Penn State win, scoring 18 points and hitting four three-pointers.
The Buckeyes will be at home again to take on the Illinois Fighting Illini on Sunday, February 26th, with tip-off set for 12 p.m.
