With the 2020 recruiting cycle officially over, Ohio State football ends with the fifth-best class in the country and the best in the Big Ten.  The class features three players listed as five-stars, seven players ranked inside the top 100 and seven who are considered to be one of the top five players at their respective position. The class also features 13 players who were early enrollees which is the largest group the Buckeyes have ever had.

Here’s a position by position breakdown of the 2020 signing class:

  • Offensive line (6): Josh Fryar, Jakob James, Paris Johnson, Jr., Trey Leroux, Grant Toutant, Luke Wypler
  • Wide Receiver (4): Mookie Cooper, Julian Fleming, Gee Scott Jr., Jaxon Smith-Njigba
  • Running Back (1): Miyan Williams
  • Quarterback (2): Jack James Miller, III, C.J. Stroud
  • Tight End (1): Joe Royer
  • Defensive Line (3): Jacolbe Cowan, Ty Hamilton, Darrion Henry
  • Linebacker (2): Mitchell Melton, Cody Simon
  • Safety (2): Lathan Ransom, Kourt Williams
  • Cornerback (2): Lejond Cavazos, Ryan Watts
  • Kicker (1): Jake Seibert
  • Athlete (1): Cameron Martinez
