Petitions are now available at the Holmes County Board of Elections Office for anyone interested in becoming a candidate for the Nov. 7th General Election or next year’s March primary. Offices appearing on the November ballot will be mayor and two village council seats in all villages, board of public affairs positions in Killbuck and Holmesville, one township trustee and fiscal officer in all townships and two board of education seats for the East Holmes and West Holmes Local School Districts. Positions up for election in 2024 include county commissioner, coroner, sheriff and clerk of courts.
