The expansion project for Case Farms Chicken received another approval on Monday, as the Ohio Tax Credit Authority signed off on a performance based tax credit for the farm to expand its operations in Holmes County. The farm is expected to construct a new 26,000 square foot addition, plus add a new VRT freezer to freeze product. The expansion will also include a 154,000 square foot storage freezer. The total value of the state tax credits is expected to be $400,000, with construction expected to begin once the weather clears.
