Cause of Creston house fire remains under investigation

The cause of a weekend house fire in Creston remains under investigation.  The fire occurred Sunday morning at a two-story home along North Main Street.  Fire officials say the home’s owner suffered minor injuries when he jumped out of a second story window to escape the blaze, but that no one else was injured.  The fire completely destroyed the home, along with melting several nearby cars.
