The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Boston Celtics in overtime at home on Monday night by a final score of 118-114, marking the third OT win over the Celtics this season. The Cavaliers were trailing Boston 102-91 with 4:22 left in the game, completed a comeback to send the game into overtime at 109-109, then won the game in overtime 118-114.

For Cleveland (41-26), guard Donovan Mitchell led the team with 40 points while also grabbing 11 rebounds, and forward Evan Mobley scored 25 points and grabbed 17 rebounds. Darius Garland also posted a double-double with 17 points and 12 assists.

For Boston (45-21), guard Jaylen Brown led the team with 32 points while also getting 13 rebounds and nine assists, while guard Malcolm Brogdon scored 24 points off the bench. Guard Derrick White and forward Grant Williams scored 12 points, while guard Marcus Smart scored 11 points and dished out five assists. The Celtics were however without starters Jayson Tatum, Al Horford and Robert Williams III.

The Cavaliers will next be on the road to take on the Miami Heat on Wednesday, March 8th, with tip-off set for 7:30 p.m.
