The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the New Orleans Pelicans on the road on Friday night by a final score of 118-107, marking the fifth straight win for the team.
For Cleveland (36-22), guard Donovan Mitchell led the team with 30 points with five rebounds and three assists. Forward Evan Mobley and center Jarrett Allen both posted 20+ point double-double performances, with Mobley scoring 28 points and grabbing 13 rebounds and Allen scoring 20 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Guard Caris LeVert scored 13 points and dished out nine assists off the bench, while guard Darius Garland scored 11 points and dished out seven assists.
For New Orleans (29-28), forward Brandon Ingram led the team with 25 points and dished out eight assists. Guard Trey Murphy III scored 17 points with four rebounds, while guard C.J. McCollum scored 12 points with five assists. Forward Herb Jones scored 11 points, and forward Larry Nance Jr. scored 11 points and grabbed six rebounds off the bench.
The Cavaliers will next be back at home to take on the Chicago Bulls on Saturday, February 11th, with tip-off time set for 8 p.m.
