The Cleveland Cavaliers are finalizing a deal to bring back center Tristan Thompson, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Thompson spent his first nine seasons in the league with the Cavaliers from 2011 to 2020, including the 2016 championship season. During his nine year span in Cleveland, Thompson played in 697 total games with 494 starts and averages of 9.4 points per game and 8.7 rebounds per game.
Since leaving Cleveland in 2020, Thompson spent time with various teams, including the Boston Celtics, Sacramento Kings, Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers and Los Angeles Lakers.
