The Cleveland Cavaliers fell on the road to the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night by a final score of 116-114, a game in which All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell made his return to his old team.

For Cleveland (26-16), Mitchell had a team-high 46 points, seven made three-pointers, while also racking up six assists and five rebounds. Guard Darius Garland also pitched in 21 points and six assists, while forward Evan Mobley recorded 12 points with seven rebounds and four blocks. Guard Caris LeVert meanwhile had 12 points off the bench. Center Jarrett Allen left in the first quarter with an illness and did not return.

For Utah (21-23), guard Jordan Clarkson had a team-high 32 points and five made three-pointers, while forward Lauri Markkanen recorded a double-double of 25 points and 16 rebounds.

The Cavs will next be on the road to take on the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday, January 12th, with tip-off set for 10 p.m.
