Collin Sexton’s 25 points pushed the Cleveland Cavaliers over the Brooklyn Nets as their Friday night victory secured the season sweep.  The Cavaliers defeated the Nets 125 to 113, who didn’t have Kevin Durant at their disposal.  In addition to his point total, Sexton tallied nine assists, went eight for nine at the free throw line, and was eight for nineteen in field goal attempts.  On the other side of the court, Kyrie Irving led the Nets with 38 points, six for six at the free throw line, and made fourteen field goals himself.  Andre Drummond for the Cavs picked up sixteen total rebounds and posted nineteen points.  Cleveland’s win puts their record at eight wins and seven losses as they turn their focus towards a Sunday afternoon matchup against the Boston Celtics.
