A memorial ceremony was held last night at the Medina County Fairgrounds to mark the 20th anniversary of a steam engine explosion that claimed the lives of five people and injured dozens more. More than 100 people showed up for Sunday’s ceremony, on the eve of the fair, which got underway this morning and runs through Sunday.
