Chick Master in Medina is set to layoff the majority of its employees as the company shifts most of its operations to its Canada facility. The company, which manufactures incubation equipment, will permanently layoff 70 of its 100 employees beginning January first, with the last of the layoffs finishing by March. The company recently established a new headquarters in Cambridge, Ontario, which is where the manufacturing operations will also transfer to. The company said it may keep a U.S office, possibly in Medina but there is nothing set in stone.
