This year’s Polar Bear Plunge Walk and 5K in Chippewa Lake set an all-time record for money raised with $ 36,000 ! The previous record was $ 22,000. A total of 164 people jumped into the frigid Chippewa Lake in Medina County, as 95 people participated in the walk and run. All of the money raised from the event is benefiting various local groups and organizations.
