The Chippewa Local School District’s board of education has approved a purchasing agreement for the district’s old middle school property, which has been for sale on the open market for the past two years.  According to the district, the potential buyer is a real estate company that owns apartments and senior living facilities in several different states.  Per the terms of the agreement, the real estate company now has five months to inspect the property and then let the district know whether or not it still wants to buy it.
