The Chippewa Local School District is holding a public meeting this evening to discuss its income tax levy on next month’s ballot.  The one percent renewal was placed on the November 8th ballot after being narrowly rejected by a mere 33 votes this past spring.  The levy generates roughly $2.2 million annually, or about 15% of the district’s yearly revenue.  Tonight’s meeting will begin at 6:30pm, in the high school auditorium, while a second meeting is scheduled for the evening of November 2nd.  Both in-person meetings will also be livestreamed on ZOOM.
