More demolition may be coming to the City of Ashland, as the city tries to clean up the downtown area. The city recently reached an agreement with the owner of the former Hess & Clark factory that will see the building donated to the city and then be torn down. The city is also working on acquiring the former Eagle gas station on Claremont and West Liberty avenues, as that building will also be torn down. Both of these projects are coming on the heels of the city acquiring and tearing down the former Pump House Ministries buildings.
