The Wayne County Civil War Roundtable is teaming up with the Wayne County Public Library for an event next weekend. The Civil War Living History Day will take pace at the library on Saturday, May 7th, from 10 am to 3 pm, with events scheduled for both inside the library and outside. Organizers say one of the highlights will be a regimental band playing Civil War-era songs on original Civil War instruments. Next Saturday’s event will be free and open to the public.
