Earlier today the Cleveland Guardians traded starting pitcher Aaron Civale to the Tampa Bay Rays. In return, the Guardians will acquire first baseman Kyle Manzardo. Civale holds a record of 5-2 and has an ERA of 2.34 after 13 starts with Cleveland this season.
The Guardians play the Houston Astros tonight, July 31, at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas with starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (1-4) facing off against J.P. France (6-3).
